A Cup of Parting

Time with its great rush
Painful moments
This heart and pressure of great crush
Enduring much as it is so
Oh my human heart
A parting I wish not to know

The marking of this start
A deep scar to ones soul
Please pass me by
A love once had
Much higher than the sky

Life and these human moments we all share
Feelings of great loss in its despair
Spinning world you can be so unfair
Yet few moments of smiles
And happiness we declare

As days can start anew
And the standing of ground
Weakness this heart only knew
Ones inner love to be found

Part as you may
A true heart will never play
The learning of wisdom
On this fine day.

Dream a Dream

I dream a dream, one day to be,
A great poet for all of thee.
As for now, a poem for all to see;

Let’s dream a dream, both you and me.

Misty minds of what we do find,
Emerald stars how they do shine;
Clouds of our heavens to ones mind.

Dimensional rings both near and far,
Aloft both fading and radiant stars.

Softly touching, a state of being;
Drifting past points, we now are seeing.
A Spiritual awakening, this horizon universe;

Focus to the heavens above and beyond.

To dream a dream as it seems to seem.
Wonders of all an endless sight,
A dream to dream, life's very delight.

Capturing imaginations all around,
What was once there, no longer to be found.
Returning to where one has begun,

This dream a dream is now done.

A True Diamond

Crafted
This fine diamond
Your signature
So true
Words of delight
Shared by
A great Poet
That was
You.

Darkness Lurks

In this hour I stand in fear,
My strengths have befallen me;
The lion's mouth I do hear.

Yet with each step, step rebound,
Come quick O' my victory;
Released, my visions resound.

Chattering O' evil wing,
Perched upon your heights so free;
Stand hence you, O' evil thing.

In midst of evil creatures,
Emotions cry out from me.

A Timeless Door

A thought ever so true,
A dream
Adorn from me to you,
A channel without seam.
Words of capture,
And from ones mind frame.
Recalls of this great wonder,
One could never be the same.
Inspirations a moment to grasp,
As in time they all pass.
Dear moments we want to last,
As in life sometimes cast.
Words of feeling,
And motions we all know.
A picture to one's mind, sometimes show.
And we all hold a dream in hand,
A parting hard to withstand.
Tick Tick, as it leaves our mind,
The wishing for more.
Our dream leaves,
Headed through its timeless door

Dreaming Amidst the Forest of Life

Stemming
this sapling as I grow,
sprouting awareness
amidst the giants.
Occasional wind blows in sunshine,
from my headdress of leaves
to my rooted toes.
The crawling of many ants;
up my barked skin
their journeys to find.
As I stretch upward
to a destiny who knows?

This forest of many saplings I do see;
tight rooted this ground against me.

I struggle my life existence;
soaking up sun rays
my leaves of damage resistance.
This dryness of life to my inner core,
giving thanks again to the wind,
as it blows in moisture to my leaves pore.
And sometimes among the storms,
I find the loss of a member;
once stood strong
and tall... as I remember.
In shock
I find my dropping leaves,
self-awareness;
I am only a sapling among many trees.

Books of the Mind

Dream to dream,
book to book.
The turning of thought
and one's page.

Seam to seam,
look to look.
The mind to find,
deep search one does wage.

Time to time
this book of mind,
endless chapters,
brainstormed to the rafters.

A twist or turn,
the absence of parts learned.
Oh yes,
the next page to turn.

Learn, learn, learn- oops,
turn, turn, turn.

Freedom

Fields of landscapes far beyond what the eyes can see,
Shared by many forefathers’ dreams for you and me

In this land we now know today,
Good faith departments just decay

The mighty dollar will win the day, so they say,
No need for what is right, the numbers they will play

Vote for this as we know its best,
Pay here now; it’s not at a request.

Freedom

Peace on Earth

Peace, is there such a thing
Each carries their own eyes
Awareness… ring… ring
Christmas chimes
Each bell… ding… ding

One and one another
Noel… sing… sing

Everlasting is love
Anointed for thee
Receiving the dove
True love we see
Hear the angles wings.

O' Future Breeze

A dance of chimes O’ melody
Today’s harp whines a broken key
O’ mountain peaks crumble way.

Distant drums rest eternally
Peaceful world, love respectfully
Doves make flight, O’ sunny day.

On the Wings of a Sparrow

Oh wind of word

Cast your truth
Soar Godspeed
Unleash your fruit

Nectar flourishes

Wisdom abound
Claws lance
Foretelling found.
